‘SAKI’ AKA Hector Hugh Munroe lived in our charming Edwardian Townhouse around 1900’s; he was a famous short story writer who was known for his witty & mischievous stories. There is an English Heritage ‘Blue Plaque’ mounted on the front façade of the building & we have of course named the building ‘SAKI HOUSE’ in his honour.
You can find the complete collection of SAKI’s books in our business lounge that boasts large Edwardian Juliet balconies overlooking Regent Street and Mortimer Street.
